About

Daniel is a private teacher based in western Pennsylvania offering lessons on both violin and viola to students of all ages and ability levels. He operates from two locations: the Greater Johnstown School of Music (Fridays), as well as his residence in Indiana, PA (the rest of the week).

Additionally, Daniel composes music for a variety of ensembles both large and small in different styles. He also performs solo, chamber, and orchestral music on the violin and viola, as well as vocal music as a cantor and chorister. He is well-versed in Catholic chant in both the Latin and Byzantine tradition and was recently honored by the opportunity to sing in a choir alongside Andrea Bocelli at the famed Italian tenor’s spring 2024 concert at the PPG Arena in Pittsburgh. Lastly, he also possesses some basic piano accompanying skills.

Daniel holds a BA in Philosophy and Theology from Holy Apostles College and is currently pursuing a BSed in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he also teaches lessons with the IUP String Project.
